1967 Cadillac Calais
I purchased this vehicle through a Renstall Motors (http://www.rennstall-usa.com/) who was consigned to sell it on behalf of its owner who was passing away due to age.
I bought it solely on merit of its incredible condition. The odometer shows 3,585 which I'm assuming mean 103,585 due to the vehicle being 49 years old. I also suspect it must have been repainted at some point in it's life also because it just looks too nice to be original 49-year-old paint.
When I received the car I wanted it to be 100% so I had the carburetor rebuilt and tuned to perfection. Starts on the first key turn every time. At that time I also requested that anything that needs attention be done and thus a control arm bushing was replaced, ignitor replaced and I also had the air conditioning system rebuilt and it blows ice cold. Tires are all in great condition and have 90% tread left.
Chrome is complete and not pitted. Interior is in amazing condition. I pictured one small seam separating on the driver seat at the very top corner and the ignition surround having light scratching on it. Headliner is perfect. Carpet still looks fresh. Dashboard is completely uncracked. Original Carburetor is in the trunk.
I tried to get some pictures of the underbody to show how clean and rust free it is. I use this car to run my weekend errands and it drives like a dream. Completely reliable running around town all day. The only reason I considered listing it for sale is that I simply have too many cars and it's time to thin the herd a little bit.
