This is a very unique example of an immaculately kept G500. The high miles shouldn't be a concern when one sees the condition of this example. In addition, the G-Wagon chassis is world renowned for being one of the strongest vehicles ever made and 300,000 and even 400,000 come on the market with some regularity. There are so many follies that you must be aware of with these cars though and the biggest one being RUST. These cars WILL begin to rust if they're exposed to the elements for too long. As you know, rust is a cancer for the metal of the car and once it starts, it literally has to be cut out to stop from spreading. It's always the number one thing you need to be aware of on these cars. Have a good look under the chassis, the bottom of the windshield, the fuel cap, door bottoms and rear bumper. If you see rust, run.
There are other small issues that plague all of these G-Wagons. The headliner loves to sag and requires replacement. The rubber on the climate control and entertainment system buttons becomes gooey and gummy (same happens on Ferrari). In addition, almost always the gauge cluster will begin to fade and eventually be unreadable. The factory clear-bra on the fenders also becomes faded and cracks which makes removal almost impossible.
None of these issues apply to this car.
I wouldn't hesitate a second to put this up against a 100k mile example side by side to compare condition. And I know that because I shopped these for a full year before landing this one. It's been the misses and my personal car for the past 6 or so months and we have enjoyed every moment of driving this wonderful example.

I realize I'm being very boisterous about the condition of this example and that's because I've been through 50-100 of these before landing on this one. You're welcome to compare it to any other one on the market and I'm sure you'll find there isn't one in this CONDITION, at this price. I'm sure there are ones for less money, and likely even less miles. That's fine. There isn't one that has had 1 registered owner, no rust, no issues, and TEN PAGES of VMI vehicle service history at Mercedes. I promise you can find a cheaper one. I promise you won't find a cleaner one.
